J. This is a song I wrote in Maribor a few weeks ago, maybe you can paint to it ,
a rainy painting..

The map of countires ...

There is a book J carries on this journey. It is constructed of many note books attached together, and contains, music, lyrics, poetry in German, and in English, drawings and paintings he made along the journey, and notes people sometimes  write in when he is not looking..

I saw this map scrawled in the book over coffee at Omis- and felt it was a good map to begin the story with.


It is a loose map of some of the countries crossed so far on this journey, though many are missing..

But perhaps it makes sense. One of thing J said is that -borders are just artificial, there are no borders in regards to people, and everywhere he goes, people are just as welcoming and open.

Johannes & Sunci Embarking on the DONTBESCARED project

Having performed the wedding of the island Nebojsija,
having become two parts of one island.
It was impossible to just go away as separate entities,
strangers as before,
being strangers no longer.

The ritual was binding.
So we decided to continue the bond in the form of an art project.

Johannes would resume his journey on foot,
began in Germany 3 years ago, with intention, to
reach Siberia by this winter ,
,
Sunci remains at the sea,
stationary as a rock,
present trough correspondence,
all the way along the  great journey East and North across the continents.
Sunci will document the journey, collect  the music Johannes writes for the guitar, and produce art works inspired by the voyage, in this blog,


The blog will serve as a window for you,
the reader,
so that you may look into this life on the road at your leisure,
protected from the elements by your screen,
and at your wish,
experience what constitutes such an endeavour.

At the end of the project,
once Johannes completes the journey to Siberia,
S & J shall meet again.
There will be a second performance.
The two parts will join to become the one island.



The name of the island is Ne boj si ja- meaning don't be scared- which is why the project is called thus.


The material collected during this journey will be exhibited at its completion.

Dear

You are invited to the wedding of the two rocks which make up the Nebojsija island, Kastel Kambelovac, Croatia.

The ritual will express the love of ages , love trough time and all weathers which the rocks have lived trough, and will continue to live trough for ever.

To attend put a finger in the ocean today at 5pm Croatian time.
